A Row over plans to build homes is to be resolved by a publicinquiry.

An application for planning permission to build eight houses on a site in Inverallochy was approved in 2005.

The approval came after an appeal and despite objections fromlocal residents.

The scheme is the second part of the firm's housing development onland near Fraser Crescent.

The plans to build the extra 10 homes fell foul of planningofficials at Aberdeenshire Council and the infrastructure servicescommittee refused to back the scheme.
